What is Futurating
Futurating is a word made of two parts: Future and Rating.
The platform is a service for evaluating versions of the future — postulates created by users to describe possible scenarios for the development of the world.

We believe that a body of strong postulates can influence the course of events, both locally and globally. By collecting and ranking the most inspiring images of the future, the portal helps “see” the most likely direction of human development.
The Futurating platform is a digital tool for understanding and designing the future. It allows every person to contribute to shaping a shared picture of what is to come.
Platform goal
The project’s goal is to form the most attractive images of the future across different areas of life.
Each area is part of a single mosaic that forms an ideal picture of humanity.
Any user can choose an area of interest, describe a positive vision of the future and specify a time horizon — in 5, 10, 20, 50 or more years. Once published, the postulate immediately becomes available to all visitors and starts receiving ratings.
This creates a global collective rating of the future — a system where every vote influences the development of postulates and probability-based scenarios.
Theoretical foundations
Why do events unfold this way and not another?
In physics, the motion of a body is determined by the sum of the vectors applied to it. Social development works in a similar way: many factors pull in different directions, but the result is a combined vector that determines the direction of history.
Each postulate on the portal is an influence vector with three parameters:
- Image (точка приложения) — какой постулат или какая область затрагивается;
- Probability (направление) — насколько реалистично и вероятно, что события пойдут в описанном направлении;
- Contribution — сколько энергии, намерения и вовлечённости вложено в постулат.
A postulate’s rating measures the strength of its influence on the collective field of the future.
Human participation and influence beyond one lifetime
We are all a connecting link between the past and the future.
By creating and supporting positive thought-forms, a person leaves a trace that can influence generations to come.
Futurating offers a simple way to take part in co-creating the future: by creating postulates and supporting them.
The future precedes the present. The present is the result of images of the future created earlier.
Artificial intelligence on the portal
Some postulates were created with the participation of artificial intelligence (AI).
This made it possible to fill the portal with diverse images before the first users arrived.
AI helps form positive scenarios by analyzing large volumes of data and creating inspiring descriptions of the future.
How to create images of the future
Any visitor can become the author of a postulate. The main rule is positivity: a postulate describes what will happen if events follow the best possible scenario.
A positive image of the future:
- — benefits people, nature and life as a whole;
- — inspires, unites and motivates;
- — creates the energy of creation, not fear.
The more people support your postulate, the higher its chance of becoming reality.
Publication rules
To publish a postulate:
- Choose one or more future areas.
- Specify the time horizon — in how many years the scenario is most likely.
- Create a title and description that are positive and inspiring.
- Upload a suitable image or video.
- Publish the postulate and it will immediately appear on the portal.
A postulate can be edited within 2 hours after publication and deleted within 24 hours.
Rating and points algorithms
Postulate ratings are formed based on user votes.
Postulates in each area are sorted by points, but to give new postulates a chance, a value-refresh algorithm is used:
- — Older postulates lose 1% of value per day if they do not receive new votes.
- — New postulates receive a one-month “grace period” during which their value does not decrease.
- — The home page includes a “postulate carousel” that helps new postulates become visible.
- — Postulates are also regularly promoted in the “By rating”, “Popular”, “Top” and “Discussed” sections.
This is how a live rating of postulates and future scenarios is formed.
Author achievements
Since March 4, achievements have been introduced to highlight participants’ contribution to discussions about the future.
Now every active user can receive deserved recognition for their postulates, activity and publication popularity.

At the end of each month, monthly results are published: authors who received new achievements and activity statistics.
