Futureating Platform Launches the 'Megatrends' Project

On the Futurating platform, a new project «Megatrends» is launching — a direction for postulates and articles about key long-term changes shaping the future of Russia and the world.

The project focuses on five megatrends presented by Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia, at the January Expert Dialogues at the National Center «Russia.» These directions include Globalization 2.0, Platformization of the Global Economy, New Finance, Demographic Shift, and the Development of Human Capital in the Technological Age.

«Megatrends» help to view the future not as a set of isolated events, but as a system of large-scale processes. Such postulates make it possible to understand which changes may become defining for the economy, technology, society, the state, education, finance, and people in the coming decades.

Within the project, you can publish ideas and forecasts about the new world order, Russia’s role in global changes, the development of digital platforms, artificial intelligence, technological sovereignty, digital currencies, demographic challenges, the future of work, education, and human capital.

Any user of the Futurating platform can become a participant in the project. To do this, when creating a postulate or article, you need to open additional settings and in the «Participation in Projects» block select the «Megatrends» project and one of its subprojects.

After this, the publication will become part of the project and will contribute to forming the overall picture of megatrends.
